First week: get hockey on the board
Season, divisions, teams, rinks, then either plan from open ice or add games by hand.
How to
- Admin → League: name, city, timezone, and rink pads (add, rename, in use, games vs practices). If Dash is connected, map each pad to a calendar sheet there.
- Admin → Seasons: create a season (it stays hidden), add divisions (skill 1 is the strongest), add teams. Copy from a prior season when you have one so clubs keep history.
- When setup is done, set that season current so the public board and Desk use it. Until then only commissioners see it.
- Admin → Users: add captains (assign their teams) and scorekeepers.
- If the rink runs DaySmart Dash, ask OnRink to set the company code on Platform, then map pads on League. Then Admin → Ice and Plan season can see open windows.
- Admin → Plan season to fill the regular-season quota, or Admin → Schedule to add games one at a time.
Playoffs are a separate step after the regular-season quota. Plan season does not place playoff games — use Plan playoff ice on Admin → Playoffs.
