How the board, desk, captains, and commissioner tools actually work. Players do not need an account.
FAQ
- Do players need an account?
- No. The public site is the league. Only commissioners, captains, and scorekeepers sign in — on the league site, not onrink.com. How to
- Where do I sign in?
- On your league URL (your-league.onrink.com or your own domain). onrink.com is for OnRink platform admins. If you try there with a league login, you are sent to your site. How to
- Who fills out the scoresheet?
- A scorekeeper or commissioner at Desk. Captains can submit a correction after the game is final; it does not change the public sheet until the commissioner approves. How to
- What does a captain actually do?
- Keep the club list and who is in for this season. Upcoming lineups are yours. After a game is final, submit dressed / scorers / PIM for commissioner approval. Captains do not change the final score. How to
- Full, half, and sub — what is the difference?
- Captains set full, half, or sub on Team settings; full and half stay off the public type column. Sub shows on the public roster. The club pool can dress even if they are not marked in for the season; they appear once they play or you mark them in. How to
- What are the banners on a team page?
- Playoff champions in gold and regular-season winners in ice — one banner per title, hung like arena rafters. Team pages hang every title for that club. Player pages hang titles for seasons they were on that roster. Trophy Room is the full case. How to
- Where do I see what shipped?
- Commissioner → What’s new. Public highlights (banners, career, calendar) also sit on onrink.com. How to
- Can I add games to Google or Apple Calendar?
- Yes. Schedule, a team page, or More → Add to calendar. Subscribe (Google / Apple / Outlook) so moves update, or download a .ics. League, a division, or one team. How to
- Do captains get an email when a game moves?
- Yes — to the captain login on that team — when the season is current (not a hidden draft) and mail is configured. Entering a final score does not email. How to
- How does a captain know a sheet correction was approved?
- Email to that team’s captain logins (and whoever submitted) when the commissioner approves or dismisses, including a note if they said why it was not applied. Pending shows on the public game as Correction waiting, and on Team settings. Open the game to replace the request until it is reviewed. How to
- How do I connect the rink calendar?
- OnRink platform admin sets the DaySmart Dash company code on that league. The commissioner then maps each pad to a Dash sheet on League settings. Then Ice and Schedule can pick open windows. Write-back still waits on a rink API key. How to
- Overtime or shootout — who gets the point?
- The winner gets the win. The loser gets 1 point (O/L) when the game is marked overtime or shootout. How to
- Pause vs remove a league?
- Pause hides the public site and blocks league logins; data stays. Remove deletes the tenant after you type the slug. User accounts are not deleted. How to
