Seasons, divisions, and teams
One board for the season. Copy last season so the same clubs keep stats history.
How to
- Create a season (optionally copy divisions, teams, rosters, captains, and schedule links). It stays hidden so the public, captains, and desk keep seeing the live season.
- Set it current when teams and the schedule are ready. Only one season is current; the rest stay archived or hidden.
- Add divisions and set skill rank (1 is highest skill). Reorder with the up/down controls.
- Add teams in a division. Start typing a prior club’s name and pick it so a sit-out team keeps the same URL and stats history.
You cannot delete a season that already has games — archive it. You cannot delete a division or team that already has games this season; move or finish those games first.
Preferred weeknights and games-per-team live on the division and are used by Plan season. Clear schedule on Plan season only works while the season is still hidden, so you can re-test the automatic planner without wiping live history.
- A team URL is /teams/that-slug. Rename carefully; the identity is what stats hang off.
- A club that skipped a season: type its old name, pick the match, then Add. A new spelling creates a new club.
