Ice and the schedule

See open windows, add or move a game, postpone. Confirm if someone is double-booked or ice looks held.

How to

  1. If Dash is connected, Admin → Ice lists open windows on play nights. Pick a slot to add a game, place a postponement, or hold ice for a playoff matchup (including TBD). Same club twice on the rink calendar (Bombers v Bombers) is TBD ice — take that slot like an open faceoff, even when Dash leaves the title blank and only the scrape says Bombers vs Bombers. Admin → Playoffs → Plan playoff ice fills remaining TBD games in every seeded division. A matchup wizard lists the same open faceoffs for one listing. Rink schedule (from Ice only) shows what is using each pad, and when.
  2. Admin → Schedule is the listing. Add game: teams, date, time, pad. The ice wizard can fill those from a window.
  3. Move a TBP game the same way. Postponed games wait to be placed again.
  4. If a player is double-booked, a team cannot play that weekday, the night is unusual, or the rink looks booked, OnRink asks you to confirm. Cancel leaves the listing where it was.

Statuses: TBP upcoming, F final, PPD postponed, CAN canceled, FFH/FFV forfeit, SPD suspended.

Without rink software, Ice is empty — you still add games by hand on Schedule.

Takedown on the rink calendar is the scrape. Ice does not add another flood after it. Flood minutes still sit between OnRink games you place in an open gap.

Captains assigned to a team are emailed at their login when you add, move, postpone, cancel, or put a game back on the board — only if the season is current, not a hidden draft, and MAIL_HOST is set. Scores and hidden-season planner commits do not email.
